Nailsea Community Trust is a charity set up to help the people of Nailsea and the surrounding parishes of Backwell, Chelvey, Tickenham and Wraxall. The Trust was established in 1988 when Mrs Joyce Thatcher bequeathed money to be used for the benefit of Nailsea and its' needy people. Since then donations have allowed the trust to continue helping local people and local organisations.
The Trust provides money to individuals and to groups or events. Individual claims are handled on a weekly basis while claims from groups and events are dealt with quarterly.
The Trust also collects and administers money to add to the fund for future aid.
